The facility soon rebounded, even issuing its first partner distributions in over a decade, marking a strong return to financial health and community trust.

A Ground Up Vision in Detroit Lakes

Pelican Landing emerged to meet the urgent need for upscale senior living in Detroit Lakes. Developed by DW Jones Management in partnership with Progressive Care, the $12.6 million facility opened in November 2019, offering 76 units across independent, assisted, and memory care. Launching just before the pandemic, it stood resilient and has since become a thriving model of progressive care.
